Prevent is a pre-emergence herbicide for control of grasses, sedges and some broad leaf weeds in transplanted rice. Prevent belongs to chloroacetamide group . It is selective broad spectrum pre-emergence herbicide for transplanted rice. Prevent has excellent control against broad leaved weeds, sedges and grasses . It is taken up rapidly by the germination weeds and to a lesser extent, by the roots of germinating weeds which die shortly after emergence
